Thank you for choosing Zobo Cabs! Since we are primarily a transportation service provider, our "shipping" policy refers to the process of getting you to your chosen destination. We don't ship physical goods, but we do "ship" you!
This policy outlines the terms and conditions related to your transportation via Zobo Cabs. Please read it carefully before booking a ride.
1. Service Area:
Zobo Cabs operates within Kolkata, West Bengal. Our services may be subject to availability based on location and time. You can verify service availability when booking through our app or website.
2. Booking Confirmation:
Your booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation message (SMS/email/in-app notification) with a booking ID and ride details. Please ensure the details are correct. Contact our customer support immediately if you notice any discrepancies.
3. Pick-up and Drop-off:
Pick-up: Our driver will arrive at your designated pick-up location at the scheduled time. Please be ready at the pick-up point a few minutes prior to the scheduled time. Drivers will typically wait for a reasonable period (e.g., 5-10 minutes) at the pick-up location. If you are delayed, please contact the driver or our customer support as soon as possible. Failure to arrive within the waiting time may result in cancellation of the booking, and you may be subject to cancellation charges (see section 6).
Drop-off: The driver will drop you off at your chosen destination. Please ensure the drop-off location is accurately specified during booking. Any changes to the drop-off location may incur additional charges.
4. Ride Details and Changes:
Route: The driver will generally follow the most efficient route to your destination. However, alternative routes may be taken due to traffic conditions, road closures, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Changes: Changes to the pick-up location, drop-off location, or route may be possible before the ride commences, subject to availability and driver discretion. Changes made during the ride may incur additional charges, which will be calculated based on the distance and time.
5. Fares and Payment:
Fare Calculation: Fares are calculated based on distance, time, and any applicable surcharges. The estimated fare will be displayed during booking. The final fare may vary slightly due to factors such as traffic conditions, tolls, or changes to the route.
Payment Methods: We accept Cash, Credit/Debit cards, Mobile wallets. Payment is due upon completion of the ride.
Tolls and Other Charges: Tolls, parking fees, and other applicable charges will be added to the final fare.
6. Cancellation Policy:
Passenger Cancellation: You can cancel your booking through the app or by contacting customer support. Cancellations made within a specified time frame of before 300 minutes of the scheduled pick-up may be free. Cancellations made after this time may be subject to cancellation charges.
Driver Cancellation: Drivers may cancel bookings due to unforeseen circumstances such as vehicle malfunction or emergencies. In such cases, we will make every effort to arrange an alternative ride for you as soon as possible.
7. Safety and Conduct:
Passenger Safety: We prioritize the safety of our passengers. Please adhere to all safety instructions provided by the driver.
Passenger Conduct: Passengers are expected to behave respectfully towards the driver and other passengers. We reserve the right to refuse service to passengers who are deemed to be behaving inappropriately or are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
8. Lost and Found:
Zobo Cabs is not responsible for any items left behind in our vehicles. However, if you believe you have lost an item, please contact our customer support immediately. We will do our best to assist you in retrieving your belongings.
